Patsy Lee Slaton

Patsy Lee Rinehart Slaton went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at age 77. Patsy was born on November 11, 1942 to Perry and Willie B Rinehart. Patsy met her husband, Tom Slaton Jr on a blind date when she was 13. They were married 5 years later on June 24, 1961. They were married 59 years. Patsy retired from De Soto ISD in November of 2012 as a secretary at Woodridge Elementary. She served the district for over 40 years in various positions. Patsy was an active member of Hampton Rd Baptist Church, De Soto TX, for over 50 years. Next to the Lord, Patsy's family was the center of her life. She loved to plan family gatherings and reunions. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attending their events. She is survived by her husband, Tom Slaton Jr, daughter Kay Earle and husband Randy, son Steven Slaton. Grandchildren Kristopher Vernon and wife Kristin, Amanda Slaton Williamson and husband Jordan, Perry Slaton. Great-grandchildren Karson, Knox, Nora, Ivy, and Wes. Also her cousin Donnie Rinehart and wife Teresa who she has always thought of him as her brother and their daughter Erin Rinehart. Many cousins and nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents Perry and Willie B Rinehart, son Tommy Slaton 2006, and brother Robert Wesley Rinehart 2020. We find comfort in knowing that Patsy is healed and in the arms of our savior. The family suggests donations to the charity of your choice in memory of Patsy.
