Paul Edward Dyson

Paul Edward Dyson (06/19/1951- 09/24/2014) passed away on the morning of Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in DeSoto, Texas. He was the son of Thomas and Anna Marie Dyson. Paul was a graduate of  DeSoto High School (class of 1969) and Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, AL (class of 1975). He worked for GuideOne Insurance for 30 years, first in sales and then in management. He loved nothing more than partnering with his agents to help them fulfill their own potential. His heart was dedicated to "holding the rope" for missionaries by serving on missions committees in the different places he lived.  He also served on the board for Camino Global. Paul loved his Lord, his family, and Faith Bible Church where he served on the elder board.  Paul was known for his smile, his laugh, his stories, endless jokes, but most of all for his wisdom and integrity. He was always looking at "the big picture". He loved "scoping out" new places and discovering every possible way on the map to get there. Sadly, Starbucks stocks have declined since Wednesday due to the sudden decline in mocha and iced latte consumption. Paul is survived by his wife Virginia (Ginny) Dyson, son Dr. Matthew Dyson and his wife Emily, daughter: Katie Bernstein and her husband Jonathan. He is also survived by grandchildren Noah, Phillip, and Olivia Dyson and Julian and Jacob (Jack) Bernstein, sisters: Patricia Joy Savoie  and Kathleen Fern Bragewitz;  brother: Thomas Noah Dyson, III.
