Paul T. Johnson

Paul Thurman Johnson, 80, passed away March 23, 2012 at Ennis Care Center in Ennis, TX. Paul was born in Lovelady, TX (actual birth in Pearson Chapel) on February 14, 1932 to Ervin Monroe Johnson and Ethel Maude Carlton Johnson. He married Billie Merle Lambright on April 30, 1960. Paul was retired from the U S Postal Service, a member of Hampton Road Baptist Church and a veteran of the U S Air Force. He is survived by his wife of almost 52 years: Billie Merle Johnson; daughter & son in law: Jenna Johnson Burris & Bo Burris; son: Paul Toby Johnson; grandchildren: Lloyd Ray Burris, II., Laura Rene Burris Gonzalez & her husband Rafael Gonzalez, Lindsey Rechelle Burris, Lacie Rebecca Burris; great grandchildren: Jessie Sophia Gonzalez and Joel Abraham Gonzalez; sisters: Earline Keith of Houston, TX and Lorena Hill of Kennard, TX; brother: Bobby Royce Johnson of Fort Worth, TX and numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will be at 10 A. M. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Hampton Rd. Baptist Church, 400 N. Hampton RD., DeSoto, TX 75115 with Interment at 4 P. M. that Saturday in Ivie Cemetery, near Kennard out of Crockett, Texas. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials or donations be made in Paul's name to the Hampton Road Baptist Church Building Fund, Church of your choice or The Lonestar Flight Museum, P.O.
