50, of DeSoto, TX transitioned into eternal life on Saturday, August 03, 2013. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 A. M. on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Community Missionary Baptist Church, 115 W. Beltline Rd., DeSoto, Tx with Dr. Oscar Epps, officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas. A Wake and Visitation will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 P.M. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at The Chapel of WEST/HURTT Funeral Home. Penney had been a teacher for the Dallas Independent School System. She was preceded in death by her mother: Margaret Ann Talley. Besides her husband: Samuel E. Fowler, Sr, Penney is survived by her father: George T. Talley Sr. of Los Angeles, CA, her brother: George T. Talley also of Los Angeles, CA and her step-son: Samuel E. Fowler, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA and a number of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
