Presley Ann Rogers, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2026, at the age of 20. Born on April 21, 2006, she was a young woman building a life of love and purpose. She leaves us far too soon.
A student at Tarrant County College, Presley was pursuing a degree in education. She knew she wanted to teach from a very early age, and a love of math and the logical order of numbers made subject selection simple. Her true purpose was to help shape the minds and hearts of future generations through teaching.
As the eldest daughter, Presley served as the heart and light of her family. She was a meticulous coordinator of family celebrations a “chaos coordinator” who managed everything from menus to entertainment. In each digitally crafted custom event invitation, Presley would include outfit aesthetic color palettes to keep the family photogenic.
Presley was characterized by her kindness, humility, and unwavering honesty. She was a fierce advocate for equality and justice, women’s rights, as well as mental health awareness. She stood as a proud ally for the LGBTQ+ community and marginalized groups.
Presley was quite social though a bit of a homebody; intelligent but occasionally obtuse; bashful yet fiercely confident. She was a hopeless romantic and constantly buried in her books. Disney theme songs and Taylor Swift dominated her playlists while Star Wars, Marvel, and anime filled her streaming queues.
Presley called herself a nerd and her interests supported this: LEGO, Funko Pops, anime figures, Minecraft, and The SIMS. She was a naturally talented artist but could rarely put down her books to pick up a pencil or brush.
Like her favorite flower, baby’s breath, Presley was delicately unassuming and made every bouquet or group of friends fuller and more beautiful. She looked forward to finding her person and starting a big family – she kept a comically long list of likely children’s names.
Family and Legacy
She is survived by her proud parents, David and Elizabeth Rogers; her brother Sean Martinez (whom she adoringly called “competition”); her nearly identical sister and “underling,” Delaney Rogers; her grandparents, Mike Rogers, Allena Kimberlin, and Sherry Tyler, and her aunts, uncles, and her cousins; Brooklyn and Morgan, two of her absolute favorite people.
Celebration of Life
A celebration of Presley’s life will be held Saturday evening on May 23rd, 2026, at 5:00PM at the home of Sherry Tyler in Midlothian, Tx. To help us prepare a meal following the service, we would greatly appreciate a quick Direct Message to Sherry of how many will be attending. Please dress comfortably for the evening outdoors.
Presley delighted in bringing people she loved together, and we’ll honor her by doing the same as we share stories of how she touched our lives, made us laugh, and made us better through the example she set. In honor of Presley, the aesthetic will be buttery yellow for her radiance, white for her innocence, and sage green for growth and new life.
