Raul "Rudy" G. Espinoza

Raul "RUDY" G. Espinoza, Sr.  of Duncanville and passed away unexpectedly on Thursday.

Rudy was born to Salome Espinoza and Angelina G. Arriaga on September 2, 1951 in Dallas Texas. He was one of twelve brothers and sisters. June 17, 1971 he married Mary Gutierrez Espinoza also of Dallas.

Survivors include his wife Mary, children Betty Gutierrez, Alice Chapa, Sandra Granados, Raul G. Espinoza Jr., Teresa E. Davis and Vincent G. Espinoza, 19 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. Siblings, Gustavo Espinoza, Juanita E. Aleman, Saul Espinoza, Edward Arriaga, and Carmen A. Ibarra.  Rudy was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Lillie E. Hutchinson, Alexandra Espinoza, Geneva E. Santoya, Salome E. Espinoza, Jr., Marcelo Espinoza and Joe Arriaga.

A funeral in his honor will be held at 10 a. m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024 in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home 217 S. Hampton Rd., DeSoto, Texas 75115 with interment to follow in Laurel Land Cemetery in Dallas.  The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday the 2nd.
