65, of DeSoto, TX passed away on May 15, 2017.Sherryl was preceded in death by her father in law:  Pete Fortenbury in 1987; father:  Oliver Smith in 1988; brother in law:  Dan Fortenbury in 1998 ;  brother:  Rev. Kevin Smith in 2013 and her husband:  Rev. David Fortenbury in 2014.She is survived by her daughters & sons in law:  Amy & Jason Standifer and Alissa & Shane Reed;son & daughter in law:  Ryan & Heather Fortenbury;grandchildren:  Morgan, Logan, Landon, Madison, McKenna, Blaise, Carys, Melainey & Macie;mother:  Reba Mangum;mother in law:  Jean Fortenbury;nieces & nephews:  Jennifer & husband Curt Berry, Sean & wife Julie Smith, Clay Smith and Derick Smith;brothers in law:  Mike Fortenbury & Jeff Fortenbury;sisters in law:  Donna & husband Bobby Johnson and Tang Smithand numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.The family will receive friends at the Hampton Road Baptist Church, 400 N. Hampton Rd., DeSoto, TX 75115 on Friday - May 19, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. till 11:00 with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 A.M. (same day) with Dr. Charles Kendall and Rev.
