Richard Perry Fleeman

Richard Perry Fleeman, 97, of DeSoto, TX passed away on November 19, 2014. He was born July 18, 1917 in Sardis, TX to James William & Wavie Nancy Fleeman, the youngest of eight children. All preceded him in death. Richard married his high school sweetheart, Olliemae Murphy on September 2, 1940. They were married for 66 years until her death in 2006. Their son Jimmie died in 1986. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II 1942 - 1946 and was employed by Sunshine Bakery and Sweetheart Cup Company both in Dallas. Mr. Fleeman is survived by sisters in law: Lily Curry and Shirley Cochran of DeSoto, TX and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the West/Hurtt Funeral Home on Monday - November 24, 2014 from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday - November 25, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Sardis Cemetery, Sardis, TX with Dr. Chris Seidlitz, officiating.
