Richard "Rick" Truett Merritt

Richard T. Merritt passed away to a better place on December 30, 2012. Rick was born in Dallas, TX and was a long time employee of AAFES, along with the NHL for several years. Rick had a passion for music and hockey that continued throughout his lifetime. Rick leaves behind his brother, Bryan P. Merritt, of Red Oak, cousin Rhonda Stanton of Hutto, TX, her husband Greg, nephew Nate Stanton and niece Elissa Stanton, along with numerous friends around the world. A Memorial Celebration will be held 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 05, 2013 at the West-Hurtt Funeral Home.
