Robert Arlen Beard

Robert was born June 19, 1943 in Dallas Texas at Good Samaritan Hospital. A wonderful husband to Janie for 58 years. He was a dedicated rescuer of many, many animals. Also a long time car enthusiast he had many friends in all walks of life. Had gainful employment at several large companies during his working years. Was a life long member of Church of Christ. Robert was a member of the 35th Infantry Regiment Association (The Cacti Battalions), a proud history continuing from 1916. Robert was so proud to have served in the military (U.S. Army). Family suggest memorials be made to Best Friends Animal Society 5001 Angel Canyon Road P.O. Box 567 Kanab, UT. 84741-0567 or any animal shelter of your choice. A Graveside Service, with Military Honors, will be held in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX on Wednesday - September 14, 2022, at 11:00 A.M.
