Robert Tijerina

Robert Tijerina, 73 of Glenn Heights, passed away July 25, 2024. Born July 18, 1951 in the small town of San Saba, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father Luis Tijerina, mother Ofelia Tijernia, daughter Raquel Tijerina and siblings Vincent, Mary and Gloria. Robert was one of 10 siblings. He was a jack of all trades, and really knew how to light up a room and get people laughing. He was a kind soul that loved his family and would do anything for them. As a boxer in his youth and for the Air Force Robert won many titles. He was also known as a hard worker, an avid pool player, known for his great disco moves on the dance floor & loved to run and compete in marathons. He is survived by his daughter Rachel Sifuentes and son Chris Carrasco. He was a grandfather and great-grandfather. Robert is survived by his siblings, Alfred, Luis, Raymond, Janie, Gracie and Cezaria. Graveside service at DFW National Cemetery with Military Honors Friday September 27, 2024 at 1:15 P.M. Lane 2 Family and friends riding in procession will meet at West Hurtt Funeral Home at noon. Reception following graveside service at American Legion Post 424 3940 S. Ledbetter Dr. Dallas, TX. 75236 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
