He was 63 years old, of Glen Heights, Texas. He passed away unexpectedly, April 27,2024 in his sleep at home. He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Charlene Cavaness and his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his siblings, Caron Teske, Wayne Cavaness, and Julie Sullins, and also by his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Jackson, Cody Sullins, Alison Campbell and Tanner Teske. He was an intelligent and kind man with a great sense of humor. He loved his family and meeting up for family dinners and holidays. He loved dogs and fancied himself a “dog whisperer” which we all teased him about! He loved bowling and gambling at the horse races. He was very talented in math and numbers. He loved to discuss and debate (particularly with dad). In recent years it was politics and the state of the country. He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and worked for Shipman’s Snacks for many years. He was a son, an uncle, a friend, a co-worker, but most importantly he was our little brother whom we loved and will miss very much. Please check with family for further details.
