Roger Dale Evans

Roger Dale Evans age 66, of Midlothian Tx passed away, Monday April 25, at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Roger was born May 17th, 1955, in Dallas, Texas to parents, Leonard and Lula Evans. After graduating high school Roger obtained his elevator mechanics license certification. He worked for Baxter’s & Sons before starting his own business Evans Elevators. He later owned and operated Signate Elevators. Roger was an ordained minister who had the pleasure to officiate several weddings, including those of his sister Pat, his nephew Ryan, and his niece Bridget. Roger is survived by his wife of 29 years, Karen Evans, son Garrett Evans and wife Kayla of Bedford; grandson Noah. Sisters: Linda Childs and husband Terry, Brenda Bottoms and husband Charles, Doris Page and husband Danny, Brothers: Leonard Evans and wife Martha, Johnny Evans and wife Jamie, Larry Evans and wife Hope, Ronnie Evans and Susi Mitchell. Mother-in-law Patricia Burke. Brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws: Tommy and Janis Richie, Robbie and Randy Metcalf, Kendall Burke. Numerous nieces and nephews: Bobby Bridwell and wife Dawn, Michelle Dickey, Deanna Davis and husband Bill, DJ Ray and wife Tammy, Shannon Starks and husband Michael, Kim Childs, Jacob Childs, Ricky Martin and Idania Rodriguez, Sherry Page, Christie Weber and husband Brad, Travis Evans and wife Robin, Ryan Evans and wife Dee, Eric Evans, Sarah Pompa and husband Roy, David Evans and wife Colby, Jonathan Evans and wife Kalei, Brooke Gullett and husband Kyle, Bridget Mulcahey and husband Brian, Brandon Richie and wife Becky, Chaz Richie, Christian Richie, Alyssa Metcalf, Landon Metcalf, Justin Metcalf, Blake Metcalf and wife Lauren, Ivan Burke, Olin Burke, Roger had numerous great nieces and nephews: Perry Ray, Brandy Donnelly, Julia Davis, Payton Davis, Kearstin Davis, Will Davis, Landry Starks, Mikayla Starks, Michael Starks Jr., Paige Carter and husband Zach, David Harrington, Brandon Gower, Andra Weber, Madison Evans, Grayson Pompa, Shylee Pompa, Easton Harrington, Kaysen Evans, Liam Evans, Marley Mulcahey, Ryker Gullett, Raylee Gullett, Cayden Gullett, Jaynie Gullett, Cataleya Richie, Nevaeh Richie, Gavin Metcalf, Charlie Metcalf, Hattie Metcalf, Wren Metcalf. Roger will be missed by many other friends and business acquaintances. His life will continue through each of us as his influence is felt by many. We hope to see you all at the celebration honoring his life. The Celebration of life for Roger Dale Evans will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the Midlothian Bible Church, 4250 FM 663, Midlothian, TX 76065. Pastor Mike Hogue will be officiating the service ending at 6:30pm. Following the service there will be food provided and a time to share great memories of Roger.
