Roger Dale Hitt

Roger was born in Terrell, Texas to O. B. and Faye Howard Hitt. Served in the U. S. Navy, and had worked in the television repair field. He lived in Waxahachie at the time of his death, but had lived in Duncanville for over thirty years prior to that, and had lived in Oak Cliff before moving to Duncanville. He is preceded in death by his dad, Jim Arnold, mother, Faye Arnold, sister, Pat Spain, brother, Troy Hitt. He is survived by his wife, Mary Hitt, children, Lori Schrott, Renea Murley, Jay McKee, all of Waxahachie, Jimmy Dale Hitt of Saginaw, Greg Miller of DeSoto, 18 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren, sister, Nona Garcia of lewisville. Funeral Services will be at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2011 in the WEST/HURTT Chapel. Officiating will be Chaplin Dan McClinton. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Lee, Mike Staton, Randy Staton, Chris Murley, David Murley and Marc Murley. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2011 at the funeral home.
