He is survived by his daughter: Wendy Freeman; son: Ronnie "Bubba" Lee Shires, Jr. daughter: Jodi Jamison; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister & brother in law: Sandra & Edward May and a host of nieces & nephews. Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held on Monday - September 15, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX. There will be no viewing or visitation prior to the Graveside Service.
