Funeral Services for Rowena Bennett, 80, of Lexington, Kentucky (formerly of Dallas) will be held at 1 P. M. Monday, July 30, 2012 at DALLAS FIRST CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 825 N. Cockrell Hill Rd. @ Pleasant Run Rd., DeSoto, TX 75115 with Rev. Justin Pickard, officiating. Interment will follow at Laurel Land in Dallas, Texas. The family will be at the church from noon Monday until the service time to receive fiends. Mrs. Bennett was born in Dallas, Texas to John Franklin and Robbie Fields. She has been a member of the Nazarene Church for many years. Survivors include her son: Dr. Richard Bennett of Lexington, KY, daughters: Susan Bennett and her husband Richard Green of Alexandria, VA, and Julie and her husband, William Hume of Lees Summit, MO, grandchildren: Clayton, Lucas and Clare Bennett, Rebecca Fields Green and Ann Green, Bennett Hume and Rosemary Hume, sister: Patricia Burke of Duncanville, TX, and brother: Charles Fields of Amarillo, TX Aunt: Arjorie Weaver of Cedar Hill, TX
