Ruby Faye Arnold-Punch

Ruby was born on September 26, 1939, to the parentage of Albert Arnold and Earlene Williams-Arnold in DeKalb, TX. Ruby spent her childhood growing up in the Eldorado Community among a host of family and friends. She attended Eldorado Baptist Church and at a young age she came to know the Lord under the Leadership of Pastor Walter Wakefield. Ruby Loved to sing, and she sang in the church choir. As Ruby grew up, she was known to laugh and play with the community children and was known to be the best marble player among them. Ruby graduated from Marvin Pines High School in 1958. Once out of High School, Ruby moved to Dallas, TX and worked various jobs until she met and married William “Butch” Punch on September 29, 1967, and they raised their children there until their move to Shreveport, LA in 1973. She worked in the field of cosmetology for many years and transitioned into Home Health Care until her retirement. Ruby loved to spend time with her family playing dominoes and watching her favorite football team The Dallas Cowboys especially her Grandson #34 Phillip Tanner. Ruby had so many Friends and never met a stranger. Ruby is proceeded in death by her parents, Albert and Earlene, her sister Margie, one granddaughter Lyric, her husband William and a very dear friend GiGi. She will leave to cherish her memory of life: 1 sister Hazel Carson (Dallas, Tx). 3 Daughters: Linda Arnold (DeKalb, Tx). Dena Buckley (Texarkana, Ar), Phillippia Tanner (Dallas, Tx) and 1 son William J. Punch II (Stacey) (Lancaster,TX). Ruby also leaves 10 Grandchildren: Danielle Young (Mark), Christopher Arnold (Jodi), Stanley Arnold (Jiovanna), CherTorie Arnold, Charles Tanner (Nikia), Jonathan Arnold, Phillip Tanner, Monica Tanner, William J. Punch III, and Isaiah Punch. 33 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. Along with a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. Arrangements pending.
