Ruth Ann Upchurch Davies was born January 16, 1943 in Terrell, TX and died July 8, 2024 in Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Davies, Jr.; parents: Rev. James Upchurch and Lillie Marie Myers Upchurch; brothers: Douglas Upchurch, Lewis Upchurch and David Upchurch; her sister: Margie King and her granddaughter: Ashley Timmons. She is survived by her daughters: Terrie "TJ" Riley of Kemp, TX, Renae Timmons of DeSoto, TX and Tralisa Hargrove and her husband Royce Hargrove of Abilene, TX; grandchildren: Chad Riley of Kaufman, TX, Eric Timmons of Fate, TX, Clint Riley of Lillian, TX, Kallye Dunavant of Abilene, TX and Chase Riley of Kaufman, TX; great grandchildren: Koby Riley, Kyle Riley, Tyson Timmons, Steven Dunavant and Lane Riley; great great granddaughter: Elizabeth Riley; sister: Doris Eastep of Mesquite, TX, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Ruth was an Executive Administrative Assistant Fullwell Motor Products for 15 years then at Southwest Medical University in Dallas, TX, where she retired. She loved cooking for her family, but if you ate, you had to play games. Her favorite game was Chicken Foot. Her biggest fear was anyone going hungry, including animals. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held in the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Park, Dallas, TX on Thursday - August 01, 2024 at 1:00 P.M.
