Sandra Kay Barnum

Sandra Kay Holland Barnum, Age 74, was a loving Wife, beloved Mother, and precious Nanny who went home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2024. She was born on October 18, 1949, in Dallas, TX to Rowland and Ruby (Rogers) Holland Sr. She was a long-time resident of Duncanville, TX. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Henry B. Barnum, III; children: James Barnum and wife Tammy, Joan McGee and husband Bryan, and Roger Barnum; her grandchildren, Jason, James Dean, Jacob, Brandon, Hunter, Ashleigh, Tylar, Cody and Jonathan. Her sisters-in-law: Edith Holland, Bobbie Holland, Karen Fallen and Gail McVey and husband Al and many special nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. Sandra is preceded in death by her Father, Rowland Holland, Sr., Mother Ruby Rogers Holland, Brother, Rowland (Bubba) Holland, Jr., Brother, Steve Holland, Niece, Debbie Taylor, and Nephew, Greg Holland. Sandra had a servant’s heart whether she was serving her family, students in the Duncanville ISD school cafeterias, serving customers in retail, or serving the residents in an assisted living facility. She will always be remembered for the joy and kindness she showed to everyone she knew and met. She loved with her whole heart, and her faith and love for the Lord saw her through to the very end. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Sunday - April 14, 2024 at Faith Baptist Church, 111 W. Camp Wisdom Rd., Duncanville, TX 75116.
