Shirley Ann Corbin Gray

73, Dallas Police Department - Retired Assistant Chief of Police after 33 years of service, of DeSoto, TX. A beautiful life we loved came to a close on Monday afternoon December 21, 2020. Shirley was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma to the late Edward Corbin, Jr. and Betsey Irene Corbin. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband William L. Gray, Jr. in 2018. She is survived by her sons & daughters in law: Bernard Keith & Devona Kay Gray and Byron Heath & Natasha Annette Gray; grandchildren: Paige Alexandria Gray and Wendell LeRoy Robinson; brother: McIra Corbin; brother in law & sister in law: Robert & Regina Gray; sister in law: Carolyn Gray and a host of nieces & nephews. FOLLOWING ALL COVID GUIDELINES the family will receive friends in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home on Wednesday - December 30, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at which time the Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 A.M. (all on the same day) with Rev. Leroy Spiller, officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, DeSoto, TX.
