Sondra Faye Richards

79, of DeSoto, TX passed away on July 19, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 58 years: Roy Dean Richards; son: John Mark Richards; daughter: Kaye Richards Brown & her companion Scott Layman; grandchildren: Kyla & Andrew Hinkle, Keith Richards & Angel Pless, Brennan Brown and Billy Hanks; great grandchildren: Teegan and Brayden brother & sister in law: Gary & Jenny Kennedy; sister: Lynn Gilbert and a host of nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday - July 24, 2014 from 9:30 A.M. till 10:30 A.M. in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 10:30 A.M. following the visitation with Pastor Kelly Wolverton, officiating. Private family interment will follow in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX. The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials or donations be made in Mrs. Richards' name to the Hampton Road Baptist Church, 400 N. Hampton Rd., DeSoto, TX 75115.
