Stephanie "Stevie" Joy Stratton

Stevie passed away at her home unexpectedly on Thursday, June 19, 2014. She was 25 years old. She is survived by her mother: Cyndi Stratton; father: Rick Stratton; grandparents: Janelle & Mason Deibler and Charlene Matteson; very special aunts & uncles: Crystal Lamon, Mark & Beverly Deibler, Cindy Stratton & Charlotte Stratton and a host of cousins. Stevie attended Notre Dame School and enjoyed participating in school plays. She was a dedicated athlete in Special Olympics and won many medals in swimming, gymnastics, track, and bowling. She was very confident in all her endeavors. She worked at Soaring Eagles Center in Desoto and had many friends there. She played guitar in the Soaring Eagles Band. Stevie loved family get togethers and was always there waiting to give and receive hugs. Her most favorite thing to do was watching "Stevie watch" family movies. She shared her love and joy with all of us and had an excitement for life. Her sweet and loving spirit will always be with us. A Memorial Service will be held to honor her life at 2 P.
