Tamara was born in Dallas, lived in Oak Cliff until 1972 moving to Ovilla and graduated from Red Oak High School in 1976. She graduating from Mountain View and Southwest Medical School obtaining her Masters Degree. She worked at the men's prison in Palestine as a rehabilitation counselor She then lived in a senior living apartment across the street from Baylor Hospital. Tamara got around in her wheelchair and was very independent. She was briefly in a nursing home in Oak Cliff and eventually residing at Red Oak Rehab. She was loved by many of the staff and I heard them refer to her as their baby! I would like to also say how much her brother Michael loved her and how much he helped me to take care of her. He laid a lot of groundwork to make things as easy as possible for me. His love for her was as caring, protective and as loving as a big brother could be. She is preceded in death by her parents Bob and Billie Lee, brothers Michael Stephen Lee and Robert Lee. She is survived by friends Gordon and Diane Bolton, their children Andy, Marilyn, and Morgan Bolton. She was like an aunt to them, always remembering their birthdays, bringing donuts on Saturday mornings. She even took Andy to a Monkees concert when he was 9! And by many people whose lives she touched. Her bright and positive spirit will be missed.
