Thomas "Glen" Glendell Waits

it is with heartfelt sympathy we announce the passing of Thomas Glendell "GLEN" Waits early Thursday morning August 5, 2021. Glen was born September 26, 1941 in Beckville, Texas. He served in the U S Army, and had a wonderful employment with Gray Ban Electric as a sales representative. He then owned Sundown Western Wear in DeSoto. He was preceded in death by his wife: Ruth Ann McElroy on November 27, 2010. Funeral Services and interment will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 9, 2021 in Ovilla Cemetery, directly behind Ovilla United Methodist Church, with Rev. Steve Heyduc officiating. Memorials are encouraged to Ovilla United Methodist Church. (there will not be a public visitation prior to the service at Glen's request)
