Thomas "Tom" Swan

Thomas (Tom) Swan, family man, outdoorsman, sports fanatic, and practical joker, was born August 24, 1946 in Parsons, Kansas. A “small town” boy, Tom spent his youth fishing, playing ball and working for his dad at Swan Brothers Grocery. His love of athletics - he was a Kansas All State Basketball Player and college baseball player - led Tom to his first career as a teacher and coach. Tom and his family moved to Texas in 1984 when he and his brother-in-law started Cups Illustrated, a plastic cup manufacturing facility. Tom is greatly loved by his family, wife Sondra, son, Tommy and his wife Misty, daughters Lauren and Amy, grandsons, Drake, Cade and Jett, his sister, Jill Martin and her family, and his best friend Mikey the Wonder Dog. A Celebration of His Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Cornerstone Bible Church, 981 E. Parkerville Rd. @ Joe Wilson in Cedar Hill 75104.
