75, of Ovilla, TX passed away on November 21, 2010. Mr. Taggart was retired from the U S ARMY. He is survived by his wife: Peggie J. Taggart; daughters: Valerie & her husband Claude Stephens and DeAnn Guffey; grandchildren: Erica, Emily, Tyler, Joshua, Marisa and Nicholas; great grandchildren: Scott and Bodie; brothers: Sylvin & his wife Yvonne Taggart, Larry & his wife Janeine Taggart, Lynn Taggart, Lyle & his wife Bonnie Taggart and Nolan & his wife Sharon Taggart. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 12:NOON at the church prior to the funeral service which will begin at 12:NOON at the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, 2418 Brown St., Waxahachie, TX 75165 on Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Interment will follow in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials or donations be made in Val "Nick" Gaylord Taggart's name to the Wounded Warrior Project, 7020 A.C. Skinner Pkwy., #100, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
