Valerie Elaine Adkins

Valerie was born in Dallas, Texas to John Marshall and Irma Ott Williams. She died unexpectedly on her birth date at Methodist Charlton Hospital in Dallas. She was a registered nurse and had worked in nursing for many years. She graduated from Dallas Baptist university, and was a member of Cold Springs Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Gary of DeSoto, son and daughter in law, CDR Allen and Kirstin Adkins, daughter and son in law, Dr. Adrian and George Sierant, grandchildren, Madelyn, Georgie, Vivianna and Olivia, sister, Carolyn Cunningham. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the funeral home. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011 in the WEST/HURTT Chapel with Mark Hancock, officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m. at Vaughn Cemetery in Hill County, Texas.
