Vanice Elaine Baca

58, of Dallas, TX passed away May 23, 2023. Vanice was preceded in death by her husband Omar S. Baca in February of 2023. Omar and Vanice were married May 24, 2003. She is survived by her father & stepmother: Richard & Donna Scott; mother: Mary Solberg; sister: Margaret Ahmed; sister & brother-in-law: Emily & Wally Mrowczynski; stepbrother & his wife: Michael & Virginia Solberg; stepsister & her husband: Candy & David Craig; nieces & nephews: Isabella Ahmed, Amena Ahmed, Anthony Mrowczynski, Zane Solberg, Asher Solberg, Cody Craig & Caitlin Craig. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of West/Hurtt Funeral Home on Friday - June 09, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at which time the Funeral Service will begin. Interment will follow in Rhodes Cemetery, DeSoto, TX. A luncheon will be held for anyone that wants to attend at 1:00 P.M., after the interment, at O'Jeda's Restuarant, 2109 N. Hampton Rd., DeSoto, TX 75115.
