Vernard Lee "Bill" Graves

Bill was born December 13, 1929 in Whitt, TX. He passed away July 24, 2009 at the VA Hospital in Dallas after a long illness. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Cynthia Graves Llinas, two infant children, parents: V.L. & Connie Graves, one sister and one brother. He is survived by his wife of 56 years: Helen Graves of Glenn Heights, TX; son: Daniel Graves of Loveland, OH; sister: Jane Hamilton & her husband Bill of Mineral Wells, TX; grandchildren: Cortney of Phoeniz, AZ, Joshua of Hyde Park, NY and Chris of Loveland, OH; 4 nephews, 5 nieces, many close relatives and many friends. Bill was a business owner in Dallas for 36 years. He was the owner of Universal Precision Machining Co., Inc. until 1993 then Shredder Service Co. to current date. Bill & Helen were active in The North Texas Square Dance Association from 1981 until 1993 and held several offices. They were also named Couple of the Year for 1991-1992. Graveside services and interment will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. in the Hamilton Beeman Cemetery, Corsicana, TX with Mr. Mark Thomas, officiating. The family will gather in the cemetery at 12:30 P.M. (Prior to the graveside service) to receive friends.
