78, of Glenn Heights, TX passed away on June 13, 2013. Beloved wife of Alvin W. Cavaness for 60 years; beloved mother to Caron Teske, Wayne Cavaness, Julia Sullins, Rodney Cavaness. Greatly loved by her grandchildren Alison Campbell, Rebecca Jackson, Tanner Teske and Cody Sullins and her great grandchildren Zoe Adams, Gaven Campbell, Abel Jackson and Emma Jackson. She is also survived by her sister Margie Morley, many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was born in Abilene, TX to Howard and Della Baker who preceded her in death along with her sister Shirley Wheless and brother Alton Baker. Special thanks to Emily Weeks, sister in law and her husband Dan who were supportive and loving to her for many years and son in law Tim Teske who made her laugh. Homemaker, wife, mother. She was a great cook, maker of world famous biscuits. She loved babies and kept children in her home for many years after her own were grown. She loved dancing, winning at games and bowling. Family was everything to her as she was to them. There will be no viewing or visitation. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday - June 19, 2013 at 11:30 A.M. in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials or donations be made in Charlene's name to the Odyssey Hospice, 2001 Bates Dr., #400, Waxahachie, TX 75167.
