Virginia Bielefeldt

Rachel Virginia (Stroup) Bielefeldt, 88, of Plano TX was born April 03, 1925 in Pilot Point, TX and passed away peacefully December 06, 2013 at Prestonwood Court in Plano, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents: William C. and Bonnie Stroup and three brothers: Eddie, Henry (Hank) and WC (Dub), Jr. Virginia was a strong Christian and loving wife to her late husband of 50 years, Otto E. Bielefeldt. After moving from DeSoto where they lived for 40 years, she made her home in Plano. She enjoyed listening to music, playing games, knitting, spending time with family and friends and helping others. Virginia was a caring person who had been active in church, touched the lives of many and will be missed. She is survived by her daughter Warna Berryman and husband Tom of Brevard, NC, her son Alan Bielefeldt and wife Rebecca, of Houston, TX, her daughter Jan Leach and husband Glenn of Plano, TX, grandchildren: Kristin Amescua, Forrest Schulz, Seneca Hamilton, Meagan Smith, Hannah Bielefeldt, Mackenzie & David Leach and great grandchildren: Cadence Hamilton and Emma Amescua. The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, December 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. at West-Hurtt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 2 P. M. at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6000 S. R L Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A Memorial Celebration will follow at Prestonwood Court at 4 P. M. 7001 W.
