Virginia Anne Davis Durrett born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 10, 1919 led a full and active life. From neighborhood activities to leadership roles in family, civic and business endeavors, her outstanding contributions will be remembered by all who came in contact with her. Virginia was a founding member of the Millie Miller Garden Club. In 1962 she obtained a real estate license, advancing to broker/owner of Virginia Durrett Realtors, later she became Dallas Women’s Board of Realtors Women of the Year. She was a lifelong member of Oak Cliff United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Dale Durrett, and her daughter, Deborah Durrett Blount, Virginia is survived by her daughter, Dana Edgin and her husband, Jerry, and Dariel Durrett Bickley and husband, David , grandsons, Dale Edgin and Daniel Blount, great grandchildren, Dylan, Dalton, and Madeline Edgin and great great grandson, Reese Lopez. Virginia Durrett’s positive attitude will be missed by all of her family and friends. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 10:30 A. M.
