Walter Rideaux, Sr. passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 following an extended illness. Walter was born December 25, 1924 in Ville Platte, LA.

Previously from the Beaumont area, he had come to be close to his family this last year.

Walter is preceded in death by: his parents: Richard and Ophellia Banks Rideaux, wife: Vienna "Vena" Rideaux, son: Donald Rideaux, sisters: Helen Rideaux and Alberta Rideaux and all of his brothers: L.C. Rideaux, Johnny Rideaux, Richard Rideaux,Jr., and J. C. Rideaux.

Survivors are: his sons: Walter Rideaux, Jr., and his wife:Regina, Larry Rideaux, and Norris Rideaux and his wife: Geneva. Grandchildren: Dr. Larry Rideaux, Jr., Ms. Malana Rideaux, Ms. Celisse Rideaux and Mr. Walter Rideaux, III, great grandchildren: Chudney Rideaux, sister: Izetta Baker.

for services: to be announced with interment in Green Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont.
