Wanda Dell Evans

Wanda Dell Evans passed away Sunday evening in the Vitas Hospice Unit of Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Carrollton, Texas. She was a Dallas resident most of her life, and celebrated being the oldest member of Grace Temple Baptist Church in Oak Cliff last year. Her husband, J. D. Evans preceded her in death in 1999, as well as brothers: Reedy Wortham, John Robert Wortham, sister: Ina Mae Coker and half-sister: Max Vincent. The funeral will we held at 11 A. M. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Grace Temple Baptist Church, 831 W. 10t St., Dallas, TX 75208 with Marco Castillo, officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. in Vitittoe Cemetery in Whitewright, Texas. Survivors include her son and daughter in law: Ronald Jay and Rosemary Evans of Grand Prairie, TX, grandsons and their wives: Adam and Amy Evans of Southlake, and Hunter and Lindsay Evans of Keller, great granddaughters: Abby, Alex and Kennedy Evans and a number of nieces and nephews.
