Wanda Lee Higginbotham

Wanda Higginbotham of Lancaster, Texas passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on Nov. 26, 1936 in Dallas, Texas, Wanda was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Wanda retired from US Foodservice where she worked in multiple positions and was loved by all. She is survived by her children; son & daughter-in-law, Willie “D” & Betsy Higginbotham Jr., of Garland, TX. son, Terry Higginbotham of East Texas, daughter & son-in-law, Cherry & John Edwards of Red Oak, TX., daughter Carrie Higginbotham of Lancaster, TX., & daughter-in-law Nancy Higginbotham of Greshm, OR.:Grandchildren; Chad Higginbotham, Travis & Shawn Higginbotham , Jamie Byerly, Kayla Higginbotham, Kelsie & (Zach)Shelton, Wesley & (Amanda) Edwards: Great Grandchildren; Hannah & Josh Green, Emory Byerly, Brianna & Layla Higginbotham, Noah, Karissa & Caleb Shelton, Riley & Ruby Edwards. She was preceded in death by her parents Badie & Lila Gossett, her husband; Willie “D” Higginbotham, her son; Jerry Higginbotham and daughter-in-law; Gayle Higginbotham, Her life will be honored with a graveside service on Monday, April 7, 2025 @ 11:00am in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Garden of Veterans 111, Per her request, there will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
