Warren Dale Mobley, 66, U S Air Force Veteran, of DeSoto, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Warren was born December 13, 1953 in Norman Oklahoma, to Roy Dale Mobley and Helen Louise (Smith) Mobley. He grew up in the Blair, Oklahoma area and graduated from Altus High School. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1973 as an Electronic Computer and Switching Systems Technician and served 11 years active duty. He was honorably discharged from the service in 1982. He was married many years and had one son, Chris, and two daughters, Shannon and Heather. Warren was an avid member of the NRA and he also had a passion for working on sports cars. In high school he was known as the Pink Panther because he drove a pink mustang. He loved spending time with his friends and playing pool at the local VFW. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Helen Mobley. He was survived by one sister, Sandra Oros and husband John of Mountain Top, Pennsylvania; one son Christopher Paul Mobley and wife Melinda of Eldorado, Oklahoma; two daughters, Shannon Carol Butzer and husband, Blake of San Antonio, Texas, and Heather Lynn Mobley of Rockwall, Texas; seven grandchildren, Chelsea, Trevor, Abigail, Ethan, Tristen, Jakkson and Rylan and one great grand-daughter Sydney. Respecting Warren’s wishes there will be no funeral service. He is to be cremated and ashes will be placed with his parents at Altus City Cemetery, Altus, Oklahoma.
