Wayne Barrett Lambert

Wayne was a loving and committed husband and father, passionate about everything in which he was involved, warm and open to everyone he met and was involved in his church body; he was heading-up programs for the youth when he was suddenly taken from this life. Although he was born in California, he always considered Dallas his home since moving here at eleven. He married Charlotte Bottles in 1982. His career as a corporate executive for various companies allowed him to travel extensively and he kept that passion in his personal life. Wayne retired this last year and had the privilege of serving as director of the family ministries @ Christ Church of Plano. Through this position, he had the opportunity to fulfill his passion for his Christian faith. Wayne is survived by his wife: Charlotte Bottles Lambert, daughter: Emery Caroline Lambert, son: Connely Barrett Lambert, all of Plano. Brothers: Kirby James Lambert of Decatur, IL, and William Robert Lambert of Evergreen, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents: Willis and Margaret Lambert. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 P. M. on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Christ Church of Plano, 4550 Legacy Dr., Plano, TX 75024 with Rev. David Roseberry, Rector and Dr. John Bowling, officiating.
