Willard L. Klenk

90, of Dallas, TX was born July 26, 1921 in Olney, TX died on May 03, 2012. He was preceded in death by Dorothy Quiram Klenk, his wife of 59 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Methodist University in 1947 after serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired after ten years service with the Texas Employment Commission on August 31, 1992. He was a very kind, loving and gentle man who cared deeply for people. He is survived by his daughter: Donna Wells of Dallas, TX; son: Dennis Klenk of Austin, TX; son & daughter in law: Alan & Katrina Ray of Austin, TX; grandchildren: Ben & Emily Wells, Jon & Sarah Wells, Nicholas Ashby, Rebecca, Julia & Emily Klenk, Nathan, Jeremy & Brianna Ray; 4 great grandchildren; sister: Rachel DePauw of Hamilton, MT and sister in law: Ardena Klenk of Glen Ellyn, IL. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 08, 2012 from 10:30 A.M. until service time which will begin at 11:30 A.M. at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 512 N. Cockrell Hill Rd., DeSoto, TX 75115 with Pastor John DeYoung, officiating. Interment will follow in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
