67, passed away October 17, 2009 at his home in Lancaster, TX with his loving family at this bedside. Married for 42 years to Carol Vargo Felch, he is also survived by his daughter: Katherine Lillie Felch and son: Lt. William Joseph Felch, USN. Mr. Felch was born in Conneaut, Ohio on May 18, 1942, the oldest son of the late Lloyd George and Marian Alice Lillie Felch. He is also survived by his devoted sisters: Lorinda Felch Clark of Conneaut, Ohio and Lois Felch Keichline of Plantsville, Connecticut. Additional immediate family members include four nieces, one nephew, one great niece and one great nephew. Mr. Felch graduated from Kent State University, Kent Ohio (B.S. Ed.) after having served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War years with the Strategic Air Command in Orlando, FL. Mr. Felch served for over 37 years as a credit analyst, credit manager and regional credit manager in the industrial commercial credit field for the paper, aluminum and glass industries. He worked for American Greetings Corporation, Kawneer Corporation, Papercraft (Bunzel) and American Flat Glass. He bravely fought cancer for over four years. He was a Little League Baseball coach in Lancaster, TX, a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a lector for St. Francis Catholic Church in Lancaster before his battle with cancer became a burden to exercising his obligations in the above community and church activities. He was a loving Husband, Father and role model for his three godchildren and confirmadi as they began their instructions for Confirmation into the Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at West/Hurtt Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 6 – 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary beginning at 7:30 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1111 W. Danieldale Road, Duncanville, TX. Interment will be held on a later date in Kelloggsville Cemetery in Kelloggsville, Ohio.
