73, of DeSoto, TX passed away on December 02, 2016. Curtis Daniel was a principled man of integrity and character and always chose to follow the path that was right over the path that was easy. He loved his wife of 51 years, Karen, only second to God and adored his children and grandchildren. He was a strong man who loved deeply and was deeply loyal. All who knew him will know this to be true. He would do anything for anyone. Curtis was an avid DeSoto fan and supporter and was a loyal Aggie to the core. Curtis is survived by his wife: Karen; son & daughter-in-law: Matt & Lynnell, their children: Wade, Wes & Julia; son & daughter-in-law: Andy & Jaime, their children: Drew, Ryan & Reese; daughter & son-in-law: Mandy & Michael, their children: Drew, Noah, Isaac & Lindley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday - December 08, 2016 from 4 - 6:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at Hampton Road Baptist Church, 400 N. Hampton Rd., DeSoto, TX 75115 on Friday - December 09, 2016 at 9:30 A.M. with Rev. Kelly L. Wolverton, officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials or donations be made in Mr. Daniel's name to the ASPCA at www.aspca.org Those serving as pallbearers will be Matt Daniel, Andy Daniel, Michael Fernihough, Ricky Daniel, Steve Wylie & Michael Wylie. Honorary pallbearers are Drew Fernihough, Wade Daniel, Noah Fernihough, Wes Daniel, Isaac Fernihough, Drew Daniel & Ryan Daniel.
