William Dennis Johnson

A Celebration of his Life will be held at 10 A. M. Saturday, June 18, 2011 in the WEST/HURTT Memorial Chapel. William Dennis Johnson was born in Dallas, Texas on March 31, 1962 to Bill and Virginia Johnson. He passed away June 7, 2011 in Duluth, GA where he worked and lived the last five years. Dennis proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps. He was the proud father of two children, daughter, Madison Denise Johnson, age 15, and son, William Wyatt Johnson, age 13, both of Duluth, GA. His mother, Virginia preceded him in death. Besides his two children, Dennis is survived by his parents, Bill and Jane Johnson of Arlington, TX, sisters, Karen Denise Landrum, Tina Marie Jones, Monica Lynn Coney, Kimberly Ann Berman, many nieces and nephews, a long time friend and companion, Melissa Adams of Duluth, Ga and many, many friends. Dennis attended grade school in DeSoto, TX and high school in Arlington, TX. Dennis loved to fish and hunt and was the happiest doing these activities. He fished from California to Florida and got a big kick out of sending pictures of his catches to his father, who had never caught fish so big. It was Dennis' wish to be cremated and his remains returned to his beloved Texas, where a private family ceremony will take place at the Johnson Family Cemetery in Miller Grove, TX at a later date.
