Willie Joe Chambers was born in Dallas, Texas to Joe Murry and Opal Faye Bell Chambers. he was an automobile mechanic. Survivors include his mother: Opal Thomas of DeSoto, sister: Terri Thomas of DeSoto, four children: Erica Chambers, Renekka and her husband: Charles Hooks, Franchier and her husband: Jermaine Johnson all of Dallas, and Desiree and her husband: Neiman Hughley of Sherman, TX, ten grandchildren: BriAnna Chambers, Trenton Chambers, McKenzie Campbell, La'lie Hooks, Savannah Hooks, Xavier Chambers,, Tresean Davis, Monica Burnett, Jayla Hughley, Jazlynn Hughley, aunts and uncles: Lewis E. Green of California, Ruby Edwards of DeSoto, Larry Green, and his wife: Angie of Dallas, and Charles Green of Dallas, special cousins: Bertha Anderson, Carolyn Anderson Johnson, and Linda Thomas McCain, and best friend: Ellis Crosby The family will receive friends from 10 A. M. until Services are held at 11 A. M. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in the Chapel of WEST/HURTT Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Eddie Jenkins from Good Street Baptist Church.
