Zelda Tate

85, of DeSoto, TX passed away on April 22, 2011. Mrs. Tate was a retired DISD school teacher at T.L. Marsalis Elementary and a lifelong member of the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Bugs Tate in 2005. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law: Darrell & Gayle Tate, Kyle & Vickie Tate and Brian & Jeannine Tate; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. at the church until service time which will begin at 2:00 P.M. at Eastridge Baptist Church, 732 E. Ovilla Rd., Red Oak, TX 75154 with Bro. Jack Ables and Dr. Clyde Box, officiating. Interment will follow in Forreston Cemetery, Forreston, TX. Memorials may be made to the Eastridge Baptist Church Building Fund.
