Zelma Pearl Huffstutler

Zelma Pearl Lindsley Huffstutler, pioneer Wheatland family passed away at the age of 98 on April 6, 2015. She was in Windsor Gardens Care Center in Lancaster, Texas. She had lived her entire life in the Wheatland Community of DeSoto. Her husband, Floyd Huffstutler preceded her in death in 1964. He had served as mayor of DeSoto in the '50s when DeSoto got its first street lights. Survivors include her son: Larry of DeSoto, and other relatives and dear friends. There will be a come and go visitation from 11 A. M. on Friday, April 10, 2015 at WEST/HURTT Funeral Home with a Chapel Service at 2 p.m. with Rev. Peter McNabb of Wheatland United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Wheatland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wheatland United Methodist church, 8000 S. Hampton Rd., Dallas, TX 75232
