Funeral Services with U. S. Army Honors will be held at 11 A. M. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas, Texas with Father Tim Gollob, officiating.The family will welcome friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday at West/Hurtt Funeral Hom Mr. Gonzalez was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico.  He served honorably in the Army during WW2 in the European theater. He moved to New York City in 1953, and to New Jersey in 1965.  Mr. Gonzalez was an ore miner in Dover, NJ from 1953 till his retirement in 1982.  In 2008 he moved to Dallas to be closer to family and friends.  Mr. Gonzalez was truly a patriot and a family man.
